Nicole Scherzinger admitted her ‘emotional’ split from long-term boyfriend Lewis Hamilton has made this year’s X Factor particularly ‘hard’ for her.
The 35-year-old – who parted with the Formula 1 star, 28, after five-years in July – declared she is ‘not a robot’ after breaking down twice during auditions for the ITV show.
‘On the personal side it has been a hard year for me,’ she confessed.
‘I am not a robot and I wear my heart on my sleeve.
‘I think I’ve been a bit more emotional through the audition process this year because I was going through some stuff internally,’ she said as she hosted the Judges’ Houses round in Antigua this weekend.The former Pussycat Doll will choose her three finalists in the girls category in tonight’s show at 7.10pm.
Last night judge Sharon Osbourne picked prison officer Sam Bailey, single mother Shelley Smith and Lorna Simpson for her over-25s category, while Louis Walsh chose Luke Friend, Sam Callahan and Nicholas McDonald for the boys category.
The sizzling 28-year-old teased the publication saying: ‘I’m the only woman to win it twice, right?’ having previously being found the sexiest of them all back in 2006.
Johansson recently set pulses racing in American cinemas playing the on-screen girlfriend of Joseph Gordon-Levitt in porn addiction romantic comedy Don Jon (out in the UK in November) and will soon light up British screens as a seductive alien in gritty drama Under The Skin.
Seemingly delighting in her latest honour the actress joked: ‘You know, I gotta hustle. I’m a twenty-eight-year-old woman in the movie business, right? Pretty soon the roles you’re offered all become mothers. Then they just sort of stop.’
She also opens up about her engagement to French journalist Romain Dauriac and finds ‘jealousy’ is the key to their relationship.
‘I’m with a Frenchman. I think jealousy comes with the territory. But I’d rather be with someone who’s a little jealous than someone who’s never jealous,’ she said.
